load

Skyggnir Load is a simulation module which maps out the load of the distribution system by calculating load flow for cables and transformers using smart meter data and system layout data. Additionally, it predicts the load flow and impact of EV charging in various stages, from 0% EV ownership to 100%. The software runs periodically and the results can be viewed and analyzed in an interactive user interface. 

EVs

Skyggnir EV is a machine learning based module which predicts the likelihood of EV charging present in electricity consumption data. The underlying machine learning model labels the data but can additionally decompose the charging from the base consumption. By using this model, companies can get valuable insights into the current status of the energy transition in their systems and the effect it has. Moreover, using this foundation, companies can predict future impact of the energy transition on their system in a more accurate way than before.

design

Skyggnir Design builds on the foundation of Skyggnir Load. It consumes data on a distribution substation and its components as input and simulates load flow based on design characteristics. It works through a user interface where the user can run many variations of the same substation and compare how the different design affect load flow.
